Asgar Ali Medical College Hospital, the teaching hospital of Asgar Ali Medical College, is a 350 bedded modernized multi-disciplinary hospital, attached with the college building. Contiguity of the hospital building facilitates a strong linkage with the college that helps students to relate the theoretical knowledge with practical exposures and experiences. Well equipped with all available modern laboratory and other facilities we have emergency ambulance services, 24/7 Emergency services, NICU, ICU, CCU, Cath lab and many more specialized services, all to ensure a better patient care and a learning environment too.

We lay the deep foundation for the intellectual and ethical formation of physician-healers committed to the clinically competent care and well-being of their patients and dedicated to the health needs of our nation’s most vulnerable and underserved communities disproportionately impacted by various illness. Our excellence in clinical education is kept going not only through the diversity of the patient populations that medical students encounter but also through their intensive exposure to clinical care. Our curriculum includes systems based/ multidisciplinary instructions with integrated teaching in the basic sciences, mixed with clinical oriented flavours and time for independent study. Teaching methods such as large group teaching like lecture with labs & seminar, small group instructions, integrated teaching, tutorial, demonstration & students interaction, separate practical sessions, field placement (Community based medical education) in small groups for performing activities by the student themselves, clinical teaching in ward and self-directed learning challenge students to learn core medical science in the context of patient problems drawn from the bedside and the clinic.
